1 <?xml version="1.0"?> 2 3 <!-- 4 This file is used as a persistent data store for helper application 5 information. 6 7 The root of the data is the <RDF:Seq about="urn:mimetypes:root"/>. This 8 contains one <RDF:li/> entry per MIME type. Each <RDF:li/> entry corresponds 9 to the "urn:mimetype:major/minor" resource, where "major/minor" is the MIME 10 type. For example, for HTML we would have "urn:mimetype:text/html". 11 Typically, this resource will be in the <RDF:Description/> node which has the 12 corresponding "about" attribute. 13 14 Each "urn:mimetype:major/minor" resource can have the following properties: 15 16 NC:Value - the MIME type string 17 NC:editable - a "true" or "false" depending on whether this entry is 18 editable 19 NC:description - a description of the type ("HTML Document" for text/html) 20 NC:fileExtensions - there will be one of these properties per extension that 21 corresponds to this MIME type, each one having a single 22 extension as its value. 23 NC:handlerProp - the way the type should be handled. This corresponds to a 24 "urn:mimetype:handler:major/minor" resource. Eg, the way 25 HTML is handled would be stored in the 26 "urn:mimetype:handler:text/html" resource 27 28 Each "urn:mimetype:handler:major/minor" resource can have the following 29 properties: 30 31 NC:useSystemDefault - "true" if we should handle per default OS setting, 32 "false" or not set otherwise 33 NC:saveToDisk - "true" if the data should be saved to disk, "false" or not 34 set otherwise. 35 (Note - if both of these are false, that means "open in helper app") 36 NC:alwaysAsk - "true" if the user should always be prompted before handling 37 data of this type, false otherwise. 38 NC:externalApplication - the helper application to use for this type. This 39 corresponds to a 40 "urn:mimetype:externalApplication:major/minor" 41 resource 42 43 Each "urn:mimetype:externalApplication:major/minor" resource can have the 44 following properties: 45 46 NC:path - the path to the application 47 NC:prettyName - the "pretty name" of the application ("Acrobat Reader" for 48 /usr/bin/acroread, eg). 49 --> 50 51 <RDF:RDF xmlns:RDF="http://www.w3.org/1999/02/22-rdf-syntax-ns#" 52 xmlns:NC="http://home.netscape.com/NC-rdf#"> 53 54 <RDF:Description about="urn:mimetypes"> 55 <NC:MIME-types> 56 <RDF:Seq about="urn:mimetypes:root"> 57 </RDF:Seq> 58 </NC:MIME-types> 59 </RDF:Description> 60 </RDF:RDF>
